4-week Spanish Language Sampler Class for kids

Activity based Spanish classes for kids aged 5 to 12. These classes are non-sequential so feel free to drop in for one or all to learn crafts, songs, recipes, and a few words and phrases to get you started speaking Spanish!

This is a sampler session for folks to try it out, meet Ariel and see if you'd like to continue with her classes in the future.

Mondays and Wednesdays from October 24th to November 16th, 3:30pm – 5:00pm

Registering is helpful, but not necessary. Feel free to stop by even if you decide last minute. $15/class, or $10/class when you sign up for 3 or more.

Please contact Ariel if you have any questions or would like to sign up:

Teacher's Bio: My name is Ariel. I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I was exposed to Spanish language and culture from the very beginning. While at Western Washington University, I studied abroad in Nicaragua, in Mexico, and in the Dominican Republic. I graduated from WWU in 2011 with a degree in bilingual education and American cultural studies, with a Spanish minor. My bilingual teaching certification entailed teaching in many different contexts, from after school reading support to adult immigrant job training programs. In 2013 I recieved a Fulbright grant to support and develop the English language programing at the Universidad Tecnológica de Jalisco, in Guadalajara, Mexico. I moved to Maine in 2015, and I am excited about finding ways to bring my love of Spanish to Waldo County.
